I don’t know what your school year is looking like – maybe it’s virtual school, maybe it’s full in-person school, maybe homeschool – whatever the case may be, I know these kids are coming to the end of the day HUNGRY! And, I am too, I won’t lie! This Tropical Breeze Smoothie is the creamiest, delicious, most refreshing afternoon (or morning) snack I’ve had.
This amazing tropical smoothie combines coconut water and coconut milk. These ingredients are excellent at rebalancing electrolytes AND providing your body with satiating good fats.
Next, I use frozen fruit in this smoothie because when my Blendtec blender is finished blending, I want my smoothie to be…cold. I don’t know about you, but I do not care for room temperature smoothies. If you’d rather use fresh fruit and you have access to great fresh produce right now, go right ahead!
Last – a banana. Bananas make smoothies ultra creamy and thick. You may even choose to add frozen banana instead of fresh – this is up to you!
I like adding the liquid first to my Blendtec Blender. Then, I run it on the Smoothie Setting once, maybe twice depending on how many servings I’m making and the amount of frozen ingredients in the blender. I’m not picky, I call it “particular” about the texture of my smoothies!
Whatever the texture you desire, this high-powered Blendtec Blender is the only tool for the job, in my humble opinion. 😉
After trying this Tropical Breeze Smoothie recipe, hop back over to the blog and check out my recipe for the Creamy Chocolate ‘Milk’ Shake…it’s absolutely unreal. You’ll think you’re eating a naughty treat, but it’s actually really healthy & delicious! Don’t forget to PIN IT for later!
Until next time…Eat Well. Travel Often. Love Much.
